Dr Charlotte Ord is a Counselling Psychologist specialising in challenges around body image, weight, eating and LGBT+ issues. She works with adults and young people over the age of 16. She has extensive experience of working in the field of health and fitness and offers a safe, supportive and confidential space for you to explore the difficulties you are facing. Charlotte understands that it can be tough to talk about personal thoughts and feelings and recognises the importance of developing a strong therapeutic relationship to help you move forward more happily. Charlotte believes that there is no one psychological approach that suits everyone, and draws on a range of psychological concepts and psychotherapeutic techniques to find the approach that works best for you. She is trained and experienced in cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic, existential and humanistic approaches, and considers the therapeutic process to be a collaborative effort in which you work together as a team.
